2nd European Commission / CER workshop on climate change adaptation

Climate change will have a huge impact on the European transport system, affecting all modes of transport. Measures have to be taken, on the one hand, to reduce CO₂ emissions and the impact of global warming, and on the other hand, to adapt and reinforce their transport system as such.

This second workshop on climate change adaptation and railways will offer a unique opportunity to discuss with decision-makers and key stakeholders the rail sector’s roadmap and the major steps to be taken towards the implementation of the European Commission’s Strategy on climate change adaptation.
