Background
The Assistance and Cooperation for Community Resilience and Development Inc. (ACCORD) is composed of members who have a wide range of experience in climate change adaptation (CCA) and disaster risk reduction, project cycle management, fund-raising, financial management and audit, report preparation and grants management, and documentation and evaluation, with the objective of strengthening local capacities for managing poverty reduction and human development programmes that have lasting results.
ACCORD serves as one of the partners of CARE Nederland in the Philippines. In the interest of CARE Nederland’s commitment to the Philippines, a learning and sharing workshop on mainstreaming DRR and climate change adaptation will be organised for CARE Nederland and its partners. The workshop will also facilitate the development of CARE Nederland’s strategic directions in the Philippines.
Strategic direction is crucial and will guide CNL projects and partners in the Philippines to better link DRR activities with other development and humanitarian response initiatives of partners. In line with this, ACCORD is inviting consutant/s for a short-term engagement to bid for.
Consultancy on DDR and CCA mainstreaming
Development of strategic plan, development and capacity building of knowledge management system and participatory M&E plan, supporting DRR and CCA mainstreaming workshop.
The call is open to both individuals and groups. Interested parties may bid in full or part of the engagement. Tasks may be divided among two or more consultants. The consultant/s will work under a service contract.
