Climate Change and Diversity: Sustainable Territorial Development (CCD-STeDe)
CCD-STEDE is a world-leading programme in the field of sustainable territorial development in the context of climate justice. CCD-STEDE is a two-year Master Degree course (120 ECTS credits) training researchers and professionals to support organizations acting in the territory (enterprises, local communities, civil society organizations) and to draft sustainable development and climate adaptation policies for economic, social, environmental, international and intercultural management.
It is articulated in 4 academic paths combining different languages, and different combinations of mobility, face-to-face, and distance learning. The Master is offered by a consortium of 5 universities from all over the World
- PATH 1: Climate change, sustainability, development / Cambio Climático, Sustentabilidad y Desarrollo (University of Padova and Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar; teaching languages: English and Spanish)
- PATH 2: Regional and local studies / Estudos Regionais e Locais (University of Padova and Universidade da Madeira; teaching languages: English and Portuguese)
- PATH 3: Territorial management / Aménagement du Territoire (University of Padova and Université Joseph Ki Zerbo; teaching languages: English and French)
- PATH 4: Environmental Management (University of Padova and University of Johannesburg; teaching languages: English and French)

Requirements
CCD-STeDe Master course is open to non-EU and EU candidates.
Candidates are required to have:
- First cycle academic degree of at least 3 years – 180 ECTS credits (Licenciatura, Academic Bachelor degree, Diploma di Laurea di primo livello, Licence) or an equivalent degree (Diplôme d’Ecole d’Ingénieurs, Ecole de Commerce etc.), obtained by June 30 2022 and officially recognized by the national law
- Good command of English and Spanish or Portuguese or French, both spoken and written (A good command of the chosen path’s second language is required to be eligible. Please consider it for your choice)
- personal interest in sustainable development (see the Personal Statement form)
Please note:
Language certificates are not required to be eligible to participate in Master Programme. However, if pre-selected your language proficiency in both English and Spanish or French or Portuguese will be verified during a Zoom Interview.
