CIEDM workshop on disaster preparedness and reduction

In response to President Obama's proclaiming September be the National Preparedness Month, CIEDM have scheduled to hold a workshop to raise public awareness for the International Day of Disaster Reduction 2012. The event is open to public and mainly will be attended by a 17-person delegation from Jilin Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (DHURD), China.

Dr. Edward Huang will make a presentation on the subject in the beginning of the workshop and lead a tour of Arcadia EcoHome, a greenrated house designed and built with structural integriaty by Dr. Huang.
