Protocol on technical cooperation and mutual assistance in the field of civil defence. Signed at Evora on 9 March 1992.
For the purposes of this protocol, scientific and technical cooperation be tween the two countries may include the following:
- The joint preparation and implementation of specific programmes and projects;
- The dispatch of technicians to provide advisory and consulting services;
- The acceptance of scholarship students at the institutions of either party for the purpose of occupational and technical training;
- The planning and implementation of joint activities;
- The organization of conferences, meetings, courses and seminars;
- The exchange of information, documentation, publications and teaching materials;
- Any other type of scientific or technical cooperation agreed upon by the parties
