This report summarizes workshop discussions that aimed to review best practice in the areas of emergency preparedness and risk communication, specifically in the context of public health preparedness plans. It also offers conclusions and proposed solutions regarding resources, monitoring and evaluation, community engagement, uncertainty management, ERC integration into the preparedness cycle, and understanding the political interface.
