Probabilistic seismic hazard and risk assessment in Spain

Source(s):  International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE)

This document contains the details of a fully probabilistic seismic hazard and risk assessment developed in Spain using several modules of the CAPRA Platform. Results of risk assessments at different resolution levels (country and urban) are shown in terms of probabilistic metrics such as loss exceedance curves, average annual loss and probable maximum loss. The document also contains details on the underlying methodology for developing probabilistic risk assessments.
