Source(s):  United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
World Food Programme (WFP)

This book is a collaborative effort by many agencies and technical leaders to challenge the leaders from the whole-of-society to help unify experiences and resources to successfully manage and mitigate the impact of future pandemics and other global disasters. It outlines the human, economic and societal benefit of increasing collaboration, planning and dialogue across the entire societal architecture. Forming partnerships with non-traditional partners in public health issues it includes travel, animal health, private business, global health and civil-military response teams.
