United Kingdom: Progress in preparing for climate change (2015 report to Parliament)

This is the Committee’s on Climate Change first report to the new of the United Kingdom, covering both progress towards meeting carbon budgets and progress on adaptation to climate change. The publication includes recommendations related to adaptation priorities, on:

• residual flood risk to existing properties;
• heat-related health impacts;
• fertility of agricultural soils;
• ecological condition of the farmed countryside and wetland habitats;
• surface water flood management;
