Strengthening inclusive DRR for the Pamir Kyrgyz in the Kyrgyz Republic: addressing digital exclusion and post-resettlement vulnerability

This briefing explores the case of the Pamir Kyrgyz, a small highland pastoralist group resettled in southern Kyrgyzstan from Afghanistan’s Wakhan Corridor. The briefing is specifically focused on their continued digital exclusion, economic precarity, and underrepresentation in risk planning.

The briefing outlines seven policy recommendations to help close the digital divide and support inclusive DRR, including:
