St. James Parish disaster plan

The parish of Saint James is located on the north coast of Jamaica. Jamaica is vulnerable to disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fires among others. The parish of Saint James is certainly not exempted as it has had its fair share of disasters over the past years.

This plan seeks to document the partakers of disaster management in St. James, their roles and responsibilities, available resources, critical infrastructure in addition to other relatable information. This plan takes into consideration all phases of the disaster management cycle, by coordinating life-saving activities before, during and after an emergency or disaster has occurred.
