Cabo Verde: Plano estratégico de desenvolvimento sustentável 2017/2021

The Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development (PEDS) 2017 – 2021 is the document that materializes the Government Program of the IX Legislature in programmatic and operational terms. The PEDS describes designing and implementing the government's strategy to lay the foundations for Cape Verde's sustainable development and build a better future for all Cape Verdeans.

In this sense, the PEDS was designed from a participatory perspective, and efforts were made to ensure, in addition to the central public administration and local governments, the involvement of various national entities and institutions, including civil society organizations and the private sector, as well as Cape Verde's development partners. The plan contributes to the global development agenda (2030) and was developed with the alignment of the principles of sustainable development goals (SDGs).
