Philippines: National disaster response plan for earthquake and tsunami - Version two
This is the second version of the National Disaster Response Plan (NDRP) for Earthquake and Tsunami. Aiming to ensure the timely, effective and coordinated response by the national government and its resources, the NDRP is the national government’s strategic action for providing response assistance to manage earthquake and tsunami-related incidents. Furthermore, it identifies bridging and coordinating mechanisms, activities, common tools, and resources for its implementation.
The NDRP embraces all conceivable contingencies, making use of available resources from the government, non-government organizations, private sector, volunteer groups and other response operations actors. It also heavily relies on the capacities and capabilities of the different levels of the local government.
