Nicaragua: Plan nacional de respuesta ante desastres (2001)

The National Disaster Response Plan in Nicaragua (PNRDN) is part of the strategic planning process of the National System for Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Response (SNPMAD) under the coordination of its Executive Secretariat with the active participation of all entities comprising the National System and the valuable technical and financial cooperation of organizations such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the United States (FEMA), the United States Office of Foreign Emergency Assistance (OFDA) and the representations in Nicaragua of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).

El Plan Nacional de Respuesta ante Desastres en Nicaragua (PNRDN) es parte del proceso de planeamiento estratégico del Sistema Nacional para la Prevención, Mitigación y Atención de Desastres, (SNPMAD) bajo la coordinación de su Secretaría Ejecutiva con la activa participación de todas las entidades integrantes del Sistema Nacional y la valiosa cooperación técnica y financiera de organismos como la Agencia Federal para el Manejo de Emergencia en los Estados Unidos (FEMA), Oficina para la Asistencia de Emergencias en el Exterior de los Estados Unidos (OFDA) y las representaciones en Nicaragua del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD) y la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS).
