The National Briefing on Societal Resilience - Issue 56

This National Briefing continues our conversations on the role of children and young people in building societal resilience to disruption. It draws upon the perspective of one young person and includes a piece that she has written on "Resilience and me". Ten lessons for resilience partners on engaging young people in resilience are then offered.

NCSR+ briefings are designed for practitioners who work to enhance the resilience of society, including government, emergency planners, resilience officers, the voluntary sector, business, and communities. Briefings share knowledge and good practice on operationalising societal resilience, and lessons from ongoing design and implementation work on the NCSR+ strategy and manual on how to create a Local Resilience Capability based on interconnected modules.
