This document presents Mexico's General Law on Climate Change, approved on June 6, 2012, and includes the latest reforms of 2015. In it, Mexico exercises its sovereignty and jurisdiction and establishes provisions to address the adverse effects of climate change. This law regulates the provisions of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States regarding environmental protection, sustainable development, preservation and restoration of ecological balance.
