Towards a culture of disaster resilience - Guide for teachers
This short guide aims to build and strengthen a culture of disaster resilience among children through a participative methodology applied to an interactive extracurricular activity involving family and neighbours. This guide comprises 5 units, each suggesting some contacts. Each unit contains some information on disasters, some elements for the teacher's goals, the material necessary to achieve the goals, some empty pages to fill in what should be memorised and results achieved. The first unit describes the difference between natural phenomena and disasters, and the other units focus on risk management, ending with the risk reduction plan and the colours attributed to the various warnings.
