Drowning New Orleans

In this 2001 article the author predicted the possibility of a major hurricane swamping New Orleans under 20 feet of water. He also assessed the increased level of human activities along the Mississippi basin, which he considered the main risk multiplying factor. He suggested massive re-engineering works to save the city and its inhabitants.
