Improving the German climate adaptation strategy

The report presents the results of a research project that identified potential for further development of the DAS based on a methodological analyses of different research strands as well as the transfer of results of a comparative policy field analysis in Germany. The German ⁠Adaptation⁠ Strategy (⁠DAS⁠) provides the basis for climate adaptation concepts and measure developments in Germany.

The recommendations formulated in this report for the further development of the DAS are aimed at various aspects of adaptation policy. This includes the evaluation and selection processes for adaptation measures for the APA, the processes for involving stakeholders in the development of a policy mix, and improving the integration of different levels.
