Citizens' summary: an EU space strategy that serves the public

This Communication sets out the main priorities for the European Union (EU) space strategy. It highlights the importance of the implementation of space technology within EU policies - such as environment protection, climate change, and disaster response - to benefit the European public, business and governments.

This summary answers five questions about the EU space strategy: (i) what’s the Issue; (ii) why does the EU need to take action; (iii) what are the priorities; (iv) who will benefit; and (v) what happens next. This Communication has been adopted by the Commission on the April, 4th, 2011.
