ASEAN Safe Schools Initiative: A Compilation of Case Studies

This book is a compilation of six country case studies that discusses the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Safe Schools Initiative's (ASSI) best practices and key learnings from the implementation of comprehensive school safety frameworks.

The first phase of ASSI involved a series of consultations in nine of the member States with key national and international stakeholders to assess country and regional efforts towards school safety. Phase 2 is a three-year programme to support the ASEAN Member States in acceleraing and scaling up school safety initatives in the region. 

This document consists of case studies and best practices from Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines and Thailand.
