Mission
To implement this constitutional requirement for the benefit of Polynesian children, adolescents, and young adults, the Ministry of National Education established the services of the Vice-Rectorate of French Polynesia on January 15, 1970.
The Vice-Rector is the direct representative in French Polynesia of the Minister of National Education, Higher Education, and Research. In the event of absence or incapacity, the Vice-Rector's Secretary General deputizes for the Vice-Rector in all their delegated responsibilities and functions.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
