Mission
A project supported by the Hungarian MTA and Ministry of Environment, the main objectives and tasks of the VAHAVA Network: Information collection and dissemination of cutting themes of national research and innovation issues, events in Hungary; The main topics related to foreign information gathering and presentation; To promote domestic research and innovation activities in Hungary; Communication in the domestic climate research and climate policy measures in Hungary; Advocacy in the supply of research-funding organizations; Identifying specific topics to assist in organizing local forums.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
