Mission
Trans Support Group Pakistan (TSGP) is a transgender- and refugee-led collective committed to advancing the rights, safety, and dignity of transgender, intersex, and gender-diverse individuals in Pakistan—especially those living in conflict, climate-affected, and border regions.
TSGP's mission is to empower marginalised communities through advocacy, psychosocial support, legal aid, and skill-building, while promoting social inclusion, gender equality, and climate justice. We use art, storytelling, and community healing as tools for activism, visibility, and resilience.
Through collaboration with local and international partners, TSGP strives to create a society where every trans and gender-diverse person can live free from violence, discrimination, and exclusion, with access to justice, wellbeing, and equal opportunities.
Trans Support Group Pakistan (TSGP) has actively engaged in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) initiatives to promote transgender inclusion in emergency preparedness and response across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Through community outreach and training, 200 transgender individuals were trained on disaster preparedness, safety planning, and early response mechanisms. In addition, 100 transgender persons received first aid and psychosocial support in flood-affected and climate-vulnerable areas.
TSGP also conducted advocacy with the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and Federal Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) and provincial Govt to ensure the inclusion of transgender and gender-diverse people in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery plans. These efforts aim to build resilience, safety, and equal participation of transgender communities in humanitarian and climate action frameworks.

Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
