Mission
The Risk Dialogue Foundation develops solutions for understanding and collectively shaping technological innovations, environmental changes, and social transformation.
In doing so, it focuses on three topics:
- Digital transformation and society;
- Climate and energy;
- Risk communication and behaviour.
The Foundation's vision is that everyone can assess new societal and technological developments for him/herself and for society (or knows whom he/she can turn to), inform him/herself and get involved (or be represented), help shape new solutions, and decide on his/her personal approach. In this way, society keeps finding innovative, viable, and sustainable solutions to deal with current and future challenges.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
