SGAC, in support of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications, works on the international, national and local level to link together university students and young professionals to think creatively about international space policy issues and inject the youth point of view into international space policy creation. Having been created in the United Nations environment (UNISPACE III), SGAC's work with the UN, particularly the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS), is central to its mission.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
