Mission
Founded in 2014, Schools Week looks to inform the educational landscape through investigative journalism. The organization focuses on the key issues impacting schools in England today - from policy changes and educational reforms, to innovations and challenges within the classroom. This stems from the organization's belief that informed educators lead to empowered schools - and through their journalism, Schools Week aim to provide the education community with the knowledge and understanding needed to navigate the complexities of the education sector.
Schools Week is an independent publication, ensuring that readers receive insights and analyses grounded in accuracy.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
