Mission
It is the National Champion For Rural Services
The Rural Services Network (RSN) is the National Champion for Rural Services across England, working to ensure that the voices, needs and aspirations of rural, coastal and small-town communities are heard at the highest levels of government.
As a membership organisation representing almost 500 councils, service providers, charities, utilities, housing bodies, health organisations, and private-sector partners, it brings together those committed to delivering and improving services in rural England.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
