Mission
Le réseau pour la réduction des risques de catastrophes et l'adaptation au changement climatique, mis en place en 2012, est composé de CARE France, de la Croix-Rouge française, de Solidarités International, d’Humanité et Inclusion (ex Handicap International) et du Groupe URD. Ses principaux objectifs sont de : développer et partager les bonnes pratiques ; définir des positionnements communs et des messages de plaidoyer à faire valoir lors des réunions stratégiques au niveau national et international ; renforcer la mise en réseau pour faciliter les échanges d’expertises techniques. Depuis avril 2018, le Groupe URD est chargé de l’animation du réseau.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
