Meteorology (MDPI)
Mission
Meteorology is an international, cross-disciplinary, scholarly, peer-reviewed, open access journal of research studies related to the science of weather. It publishes reviews, regular research articles, communications, technical notes, commentaries as well as perspectives, without any restriction on the maximum length of the papers. It also publishes Special Issues on selected themes, and we welcome proposals for these from the international meteorology research community.
This journal aims to publish the best meteorology research, whether it is theoretical, numerical, observational, or experimental. Supplementary material such as additional analysis or processing software can be deposited alongside research papers.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
