Liberty Street Economics features insight and analysis from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (New York Fed) economists working at the intersection of research and policy. Launched in 2011, the blog takes its name from the Bank's headquarters at 33 Liberty Street in Manhattan's Financial District.
The New York Fed's mission is to make the U.S. economy stronger and the financial system more stable for all segments of society. This is conducted through executing monetary policy, providing financial services, supervising banks and providing thought leadership on issues that impact the nation and its communities.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
