Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. engages in the generation and sale of electricity in Korea. The company generates electricity through wind, hydro, and solar energy. As of December 31, 2007, it owned and operated 20 nuclear generating units at 4 power plant complexes located in the cities of Kori, Wolsong, Yonggwang, and Ulchin, and 27 hydroelectric generating units with a generating capacity of 18,250 megawatts. The company is based in Seoul, South Korea. Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation.

Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
