JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (formerly known as John Snow, Inc.) is dedicated to improving lives through better health and education outcomes for individuals and communities and to providing an environment where people of passion can pursue this cause.
As a global organization, JSI has designed, delivered, and scaled programs in over 50 countries worldwide. In the U.S., we’ve worked in all 50 states in evaluation, training and technical assistance, policy, and strategy. We partner with government agencies, the private sector, and community organizations to design pragmatic strategies and deliver enduring solutions.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
