The Journal of Travel Medicine publishes cutting-edge research, consensus papers, policy papers and expert reviews in the field of travel medicine in the interface with other disciplines.Thhe journal is particularly interested in the prevention and management of travel-associated infections, non-communicable diseases, vaccines, malaria prevention and treatment, multi-drug resistant pathogens, and surveillance on all persons crossing international borders.
This journal welcome manuscripts related to migration health, mass gatherings including sporting events and pilgrimages, and adventure and extreme travel. JTM also publishes papers on risk mapping, epidemiology and modelling as well as policies related to the international spread of infectious diseases.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
