Mission
IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. It is a worldwide movement of national organizations working with and for communities and individuals.
The East and South East Asia and Oceania Region (ESEAOR), Kuala Lumpur, is one of IPPF's six regional offices. It works to build and strengthen capabilities of its Member Associations (MAs) and collaborative partners in 26 countries to be both advocates and providers of SRH within a rights-based framework.
Through the SPRINT Initiative, IPPF aims to lead the global effort to address SRH services to populations in humanitarian settings.
The SPRINT Initiative saves lives and delivers on the Australian Government aid which aims to provide more effective preparedness for and response to disasters and crises. The initiative is led by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and represents its commitment to increasing access to SRH services for crisis-affected populations.
The SPRINT Initiative (Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme in Crisis and Post-Crisis Situations. SPRINT ensures access to essential lifesaving SRH services for women, men and children in times of crises, a time when services are most needed yet are not prioritised or recognised by key humanitarian responders.
IPPF currently works in over 172 countries, providing for and campaigning for SRH care and rights. There are 6 regions in IPPF:
a) the Africa region (AR)
b) the Arab world region (AWR)
c) the European network (EN)
d) the South Asia region (SAR)
e) the Ease and South East Asia & Oceania Region (ESEAOR)
f) the Western Hemisphere Region (WHR)

Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
