ESF (European Science Foundation) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation offering expert, independent management and support throughout the entire research lifecycle – from conception and implementation to evaluation, sustainability, and impact, across Europe and beyond since 1974.

• Research assessment and grant evaluation: with up to 5000 proposals assessed per year, ESF provides rigorous and independent assessments for research funding and talent selection.
• Managing research funding programs, supporting the design, implementation, distribution and monitoring of research funding.
• Hosting and supporting scientific structures, enabling dynamic scientific collaborations by providing a comprehensive operational base, with dedicated support in administration, finance, operations, and communication.
• Managing and supporting EU-funded projects: leveraging its expertise, ESF strengthens the impact of projects and programmes by managing, coordinating, communicating, and actively participating in project proposals and execution.
• With a dynamic, highly qualified international team, ESF is a key player in providing independent support to research endeavours, ensuring that scientific networks and organisations have the resources they need to focus on impactful research and collaboration.
