- Research assessment and grant evaluation: with up to 5000 proposals assessed per year, ESF provides rigorous and independent assessments for research funding and talent selection.
- Managing research funding programs, supporting the design, implementation, distribution and monitoring of research funding.
- Hosting and supporting scientific structures, enabling dynamic scientific collaborations by providing a comprehensive operational base, with dedicated support in administration, finance, operations, and communication.
- Managing and supporting EU-funded projects: leveraging its expertise, ESF strengthens the impact of projects and programmes by managing, coordinating, communicating, and actively participating in project proposals and execution.
- With a dynamic, highly qualified international team, ESF is a key player in providing independent support to research endeavours, ensuring that scientific networks and organisations have the resources they need to focus on impactful research and collaboration.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
