Ernst & Young
Mission
At EY, their purpose is building a better working world. The insights and quality services they provide help build trust and confidence in the capital markets and in economies the world over. EY develops outstanding leaders who team to deliver on their promises to all its stakeholders. In so doing, they play a critical role in building a better working world for their people, their clients and their communities.
In a world that’s changing faster than ever, EY’s purpose acts as its North Star, guiding its 400,000 people — providing the context and meaning for the work they do every day. EY helps digital pioneers fight data piracy; guides governments through cash-flow crises; unlocks new medical treatments with data analytics; and pursues high-quality audits to build trust in financial markets and business. And now EY has unified all its artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and development efforts under one platform, to help enable clients to efficiently access the benefits of AI. It is also intended to increase transparency, trust, and confidence in AI as EY seeks to use these new capabilities to serve the broader interests of society and contribute to a more inclusive future.
Through its four integrated service lines — Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions, and Tax — and its deep sector knowledge, EY helps its clients to capitalize on new opportunities and assess and manage risk to deliver responsible growth. Its high-performing, multidisciplinary teams help them fulfill regulatory requirements, keep investors informed and meet stakeholder needs.
EY believes a better working world is one where economic growth is sustainable and inclusive. It works continuously to improve the quality of all its services, investing in its people and innovation. And EY is proud to work with others — from its clients to wider stakeholders — to use its knowledge, skills and experience to help fulfill its purpose and create positive change.
Enabled by data, AI and advanced technology, EY teams help clients shape the future with confidence and develop answers for the most pressing issues of today and tomorrow. Together. All in.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
