Climate Resilience and Sustainability (RMetS)
Mission
Climate Resilience and Sustainability is an interdisciplinary open access journal. It focuses on solutions that enhance resilience to climate change, in the context of wider sustainability issues. The journal covers topics such as climate variability, climate change adaptation, climate change mitigation (that is, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions), the storage of carbon on land or in the ocean, and their intersection with land use change and degradation. Papers that explore trade-offs and co-benefits in achieving climate resilience are particularly encouraged.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
