Mission
The Climate Conscious Young Professionals Society (CCYPS) is a community organization that bridges the gap for young adults transitioning from student climate networks into the professional workforce.
Their missions is to empower young professionals across various sectors (sustainability, business, finance, education, tech, arts, media, healthcare, and agriculture) to turn climate ambition into real-world impact through their daily careers.
Their core focus is addressing the "post-graduation gap" where student-focused climate programs end, and young workers are often too junior or overlooked in traditional industry or policy spaces. It operates through 6 functional committees—Content, Events, Design, Human Resources, Secretariat, and Finance.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
