Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD) is a global coalition of over 50 prominent climate and anti-disinformation organisations, calling for decisive, unified action against widespread climate misinformation and disinformation.

For the first time at the UN level, governments are explicitly committing to protect science-based climate information, support independent journalism, improve transparency, and counter disinformation that undermines public understanding.
CCDH and the Climate Action Against Disinformation coalition found 200 videos on YouTube containing disinformation about climate change, with half of them directly breaching Google’s policy. In total, they were seen 73.8 million times.
This guide is a resource for journalists and editors to help better understand and respond to misinformation by showing Media and newsroom techniques to prevent and undermine dis/misinformation, conspiracy theories, and propaganda.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
