Mission
Science Partner Journal Civil Engineering Sciences is an online-only Open Access journal published in affiliation with the China Civil Engineering Society (CCES) and Tsinghua University (THU) and distributed by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Civil Engineering Sciences is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal focusing on the latest progress of fundamental science and engineering science in this field, publishing cutting-edge works on (1) scientific discoveries and technological innovations driven by major civil engineering needs; and (2) breakthroughs in the field of civil engineering technology brought by new scientific discoveries. With its unique perspective, this journal is expected to promote future reform and innovation in civil engineering science and technology.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
