Mission
Chiang Rai Times (CC BY-4.0) is a non-profit English language news portal that was introduced to the marketplace in 2007 to share local, regional and international news. The publication also shares information that affects the local community, covering politics, business, and social events.
The site posts news and supports and promotes Chiang Rai business, tourism and social events to more than a million readers annually, and provides residents and visitors alike with the information they want to know about, presented in a weekly, up to date and enjoyable format.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
