Mission
Center for Enhancing Knowledge (CEK), UK offers a variety of programs to support and promote education development, international cooperation, including educational programs for students, financial support for researchers and international education projects, as well as scientific publication. In addition to research activities, CEK provides a good number of scholarships to the poor and meritorious students at various levels of education all over the world. It plays an important role in the field of research by funding research projects and publishing the research papers.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
