Mission
With unprecedented threats to the natural world, governments and international bodies are drafting and implementing policy to manage the environment sustainably. Environmental Evidence seeks to inform policy makers with rigorous, structured systematic reviews of the available literature. By collating all research on an area, and objectively assessing it, they can make evidence-informed decisions to the benefit of all. The journal is published on behalf of the Collaboration for Environmental Evidence, a charity dedicated to the synthesis and presentation of systematic reviews and maps in environmental sciences.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
