Mission
Founded in 1980, the publishing house dedicated itself for at least ten years to publishing texts on the history, culture, art, and law of the Republic of San Marino. In 1992, it launched a research project on African and Asian literature, which first took shape in the release of the Melting Pot series — fiction from the countries of the Global South, edited by Eleonora Forlani and Teresa Palazzolo — and then in the journal Afriche e Orienti, edited by a group of professors from the Universities of Bologna and Naples. The publishing house also publishes a series of fiction in the Italian language and one of major reference manuals.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
