Mission
This is the pedagogical site of France Nantes' public education institute (académie).
The Nantes Academy was created on January 1, 1962, by decree of December 12, 1961. It is the fourth largest academy in France in terms of student population, after those of Versailles, Lille, and Créteil. The academy brings together five Departmental Directorates of National Education, each representing one of the departments of the Pays de la Loire region: Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire, Mayenne, Sarthe, and Vendée.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
