World Bank to help Philippines fight floods

A 1.5-million-dollar grant announced by the World Bank today is intended to finance a 'comprehensive flood management master plan' to reduce the impact of floods on Metro Manila and prevent disasters such as the storms that hit the country in 2009, reports AFP.
