Viet Nam talks disaster risk reduction at IFRC session

Vietnam has made a presentation on mitigating the damage caused by disasters at the 17th session of the General Assembly of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) which is being held in Nairobi, Kenya.

The IFRC 17th General Assembly will discuss several key issues in Nairobi this week such as the impact of climate change on people’s lives, Red Cross operations to mitigate disaster risks, emergency health care, and the development of a contingent of Red Cross volunteers and young activists.
