Taiwan: Premier 'govt has stepped up disaster prevention'

"After Typhoon Morakot hit Taiwan, the government conducted a thorough review of its disaster prevention system," said Premier Wu Den-yih in Taipei at an international conference on homeland security today. "We have revamped and strengthened the system so that it can be more comprehensive".
