Nepal to mark Disaster Reduction Day

The Government of Nepal, the Disaster Preparedness Network (DPNet-Nepal) and Jagaran Media Centre will celebrate 12th International Day for Disaster Reduction in Kathmandu on October 12, reports The Himalayan. "The government has adopted a policy to include women and children in the disaster management task," told Laxmi Prasad Dhakal, Under Secretary at the Home Ministry to The Himlayan Times.
